I used to be a home school mom in another life. Now my kids are grown and almost gone. One is married, has a master’s degree and is teaching teachers. One is working as a rocket test engineer (yes, a rocket scientist) and one is a senior in college getting ready to apply for grad school.
Now I am enjoying the next phase of my life. I get to travel with my husband. I just bring my laptop and I can work anywhere there is an internet connection.
Actually I started making websites about 10 years ago. I was able to teach myself quite a bit about web design just by reading all the great information out there on the internet. I had some good friends who let me practice with their websites. Then a couple of years ago, I decided to get some formal education to make sure I didn’t have any gaps. School has given me the opportunity to work with many different people and businesses.
I’ve discovered that I really enjoy the challenge of taking someone’s idea and making a website that works for them.
