Even though the old site was using WordPress it was not the latest version. But we had the login information and were able to get the files needed and the database to import into a new installation of WordPress. Because they were already using WordPress it was very easy to change over to a new look.

The staff learned how to add to the calendar, the pastor’s blog, and other church events to the site. They will easily be able to get their site updated with a minimum of hassle.

We designed a site that highlights the outdoor colors on all the photos on the site. WordPress gives business owners the ability to update the content on their website without hiring someone else to do it. This is the perfect solution for small business owners who want to make minor text changes or add new projects to their websites.

GWCHE offers many activities for students and parents and needed a way to see them all at a glance. We use a feature that allows us to keep information private but only allowing members to view it when they are logged in. This gives us the ability to promote activities and if members are interested they can login to view the details.

There is now a place on the home page for the latest post for each activity. We also use a reminder category so members can know when deadlines are approaching and also use an embedded Google calendar.

I made sure that in iCloud I had each of my devices set so that Contacts was on. But that wasn’t enough.

It was so simple. Just click the refresh button in the upper left corner. Yes, it was that easy.

We were able to keep the cost down by choosing a theme from StudioPress. We added a simple logo and they have a website that has the feel they were looking for. We helped them set up their email and a built in calendar for students to keep track of upcoming events and assignments.

Even though the old site was done in WordPress with a StudioPress theme, we wanted a fresh new look.

Katherine Pritchard, the owner of My Bluebonnet Cottage, has combined her love of stamping, scrapbooking, needlework and using Stampin’ Up products with a small retreat center called My Bluebonnet Cottage.

Katherine is able to showcase her work on a regular basis as well as take bookings for her cottage using PayPal. We used a great calendar plugin to keep track of the cottage bookings and regular classes.

He didn’t know much about websites but he did know he wanted people to be able to find his site while they were traveling. When I met with Jimmy, I helped him buy his domain and purchase hosting. I recommend to clients that they always keep these in separate accounts because if you ever want to change web hosts it is much easier. And the business owner has complete control of their domain.

We knew a mobile responsive theme would be the answer. We chose the Going Green Theme from StudioPress since the out of the box colors showed off the colors of the campsites.
