Dustin Ward of Waco, TX is the owner/installed of StormSafe Central Texas. The site design was done by Natalie Ward. We used WordPress so they can update the information, add videos and testimonials themselves.

We choose a WordPress theme with fresh, exciting colors that can be changed for each season if they want to.
Committee members will now be able to update their site easily.

Chaparral Insulation

Chaparral Insulation, family owned in Waco, Texas, has been in business since 1982 providing mechanical insulation services. They needed a site that would highlight their work and give them a web presence for their corporate headquarters. We helped them set up Google places pages for each of their locations.

Logged in members can view the club calendar and checkout items from a DVD library.

Magical Moments Media

This site features short videos by the owner showing samples of his video work. Dick uses an iPad to show his work to prospective clients so we wanted video that would look good without using Flash.
Natalie Ward, of NWardDesign.com designed a great logo that gave the whole website an exciting look and really helped drive our choice of colors for the background and other elements.

We’ve used WordPress as a content management system using the Genesis Theme framework from StudioPress with the Serenity Child Theme.
Set up online donations and fundraiser ticket sales through PayPal
The staff can now easily upload images for the rotating header or update pages.

The Cutting Edge Salon and Spa

The salon owner wanted a site she could maintain herself and not pay a fortune for monthly hosting. She was paying over $50.00 per month for hosting with a salon hosting site and still had to maintain it herself.
I used WordPress as the content management system.
I recommended Bluehost for her hosting. It’s $6.95 a month. All the hosting you will ever need.
I helped her transfer her domain from the old host to a GoDaddy account. Now she has complete control of her own domain and can easily switch hosting if she ever wants to.
She now has a beautiful site, courtesy of Studio Press and some customization of the Mocha Child Theme by me.
Now that the site is finished, she can maintain it for less than $10.00 a month.

The client wanted a site they could maintain themselves.
WordPress provides the client an easily maintainable website for a fraction of the cost with their previous website.

Aquilla Creek Creations

The client wanted a simple shopping cart within a site which they could maintain themselves.
After a great deal of searching I found ShoppePro.com. This is a host that specializes in hosting with an integrated shopping cart for a very reasonable price. There are many built-in options with the shopping cart.
I was able to customize the shopping cart and the client can easily add and remove items.

Impact Editing

Uses Javascript for the rotating header images.
Designed in Dreamweaver.
Functionality for the owner was added with a custom CMS so the owner can update content.

Rose-Hulman Human Powered Vehicle Team

The Human Powered Vehicle Team needed a new look. They are now the National Champions in Human-Powered Vehicles for the third year in a row. Quite an accomplishment.

Greater Waco Christian Home Educators

This site is run entirely with WordPress as a content management system.
WordPress is a great option for an organization with a small budget. Since it is open source (FREE) there is no need to buy expensive software. It only takes minimal knowledge to maintain a site with WordPress.

A Novel Writing Site

This site is run entirely with WordPress as a content management system.
There are multiple authors who provide content which is approved by the administrator of the site.

My Bluebonnet Cottage

This website has two parts. The main site is designed in Dreamweaver is only for those who are looking for a small retreat center in central Texas.
The blog is a combination of the owner’s love of stamping, scrapbooking, needlework and using Stampin’ Up products.
The blog is WordPress with the StudioPress Child theme Serenity. It works perfectly for someone who want to showcase her work on a regular basis.
I customized the theme and the header.
Payments for reservations and products are made with PayPal.
